Palin and Obama's "Tar Baby"

Bulletin: President Barack Hussein Obama makes dover of Mad Magazine!

Lee Atwater practiced "tar baby" politics. Willie Horton was Dukakis' "tar baby," and Atwater (along with a guy named Floyd Brown, who's still around) attached the "team" of Dukakis-Horton together. If I'd been king of the McCain Campaign, I would have suggested the same with the team of Obama-Wright. One problem: John McCain NEVER mentioned the name "Jeremiah Wright," and apparently forbade Sarah from doing so. I believe McCain only mentioned Bill Ayers' name once, perhaps twice.

The campaign gave Sarah a script to use on Obama-Ayers, and it was a pretty lame script ("paling around with terrorists"). They failed to portray Obama as a socialist who was proposing job-destroying (key term) tax policies. And on and on . . .

The result was that Obama, throughout the campaign, had very high "positives." At one point (with the lady in Wisconsin) McCain told us we "have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency." He should have added, "Heck, I may vote for him myself."

I'm not suggesting that McCain should have run a Darth Vader campaign, only that he should have established Barack Obama as a radical who would do great harm to individual Americans. As I've said before, I kept wondering "Exactly why is John McCain running for President? Does he really think it's important that the American people elect him rather than the other guy?"

As Pamela Geller put it recently in WND, Sarah Palin's "simplicity" is her strength rather than her weakness. For example, 18% of the people eligible for Medicare have "no health insurance." Make them sign up, and we significantly reduce the number of uninsured. Many of those people don't sign up because they don't want to pay the 90 bucks a month premium. Okay, find out what needs to been done to get them to pay it -- and then do what's necessary.

Those approaches may have some bad sides, but it's a lot better than what we're seeing now in Congress. If we PAID private insurance -- basic coverage -- for ALL the uninsured, it would cost less than the proposals now in front of Congress.

Sarah Palin will never be able to cite statistics on health care (from a TelePrompter) that come trippingly off the tongue of Hussein, but his statistics are all self-serving and ultimately bogus.

Michelle Obama: How Many Abortions?

On my other blog yesterday (Tuesday), I said the media should ask Michelle Obama how many abortions she's had. Is that nasty? Not really.

After all, if Sarah Palin and her family are fair game for any conceivable questions, then the same should be true of the Obama family. If Bristol Palin's sex life and contraception practices are fit subjects for the media, then why should the Obamas --including their children -- be excluded from similar enquiries? What's fair for the goose should also be fair for the gander.

Consider Sarah Palin's recent comments on what things annoy her.

"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom. And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."

Do I really believe the MSM will ask Michelle Obama -- and at a later date, her daughters, Sasha and Malia -- questions about their sex lives and contraception practices? No, it will never happen. The Obama children -- and Michelle herself -- are "off limits." Thus, it's okay to ask them nonsensical questions concerning the "First Dog" but not about much else. (If questions about the pooch are the only ones deemed appropriate, then we might enquire what happened to the "rescue dog" Obama previously mentioned.

Michelle Obama, "America's First Lady," has spent much of her life -- going back to her days at Princeton -- advocating Black Separatism. Like her husband, she spent 20 years attending a church, one headed by Rev. Wright, preaching Black Liberation Theology. Among other charges, Wright said that the U. S. government "invented" the AIDS virus in order to kill Black people.

Why isn't the media asking if Michelle Obama agrees with Rev. Wright? Of even more interest, does Barack Obama agree with his former pastor? And do Sasha and Malia have any views on the subject?

The American people know very little about Barack and Michelle Obama. The media should rectify that, but it probably won't.

Todd & Sarah: Model Americans

This weekend (Saturday and Sunday & into Monday), I'll be writing on two subjects: (1) what YOU can do to help ensure Sarah Palin defeats Barack Obama in 2012; (2) what you should know about the major differences in background between Sarah and Obama. The Palins (pictured below) are a classic American family; the Obamas are a couple nurtured, as Obama admitted in his books, in environments largely detached from the American mainstream. Michelle Obama has been an advocate of the Black Separatism preached by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama's views on Black Separatism are not known, although he did spend 20 years listening to Rev. Wright's rants against white people and America. He has never explained that disturbing history. In any case, his leftist policies are doing great damage to the American Way of Life. In 2008, Obama got 96% of the African-American vote, a disturbing sign of the racial politics he and his campaign guru David Axelrod practiced.

Note: On SteveMaloneyGop today is the first of my blockbuster columns about Obama's plan to destroy our country's middle class, the one element that could fight against his plan to redistribute American wealth.

Right now, one pro-Palin organization (TeamSarah) has nearly 70,000 members. Other large groups on MySpace, Facebook, and elsewhere are also backing Sarah Palin. If, by 2012, Sarah has one-million-plus trained activists, she could be unbeatable.

SNEAK PEEK AT A SUBJECT I'M COVERING IN MY BOOK ON SARAH PALIN. THIS PIECE DEALS WITH ZIEGLER'S "MEDIA MALPRACTICE" AND THE NEED TO GET IT OUT TO MANY INDEPENDENTS AND DEMOCRATS

On Hillary Supporters: I am not a fan of Mrs. Clinton, but starting last April (around the time of the Pennsylvania primary), I began working half-time or more with backers of HRC, some of whom I found to live in fantasy land but many of whom become good friends. I was the co-host (with Anne Franklin, an Independent but a Hillary Supporter) of the "Clintons4McCain" Blog Talk Radio. I knew last April that Hillaryites were a key to winning in Nov.

Yes, it's very important to get "Media Malpractice" out to as many Indepdents and Hillary Supporters as possible. I hope the PUMA groups feel the same way. I'm going to ask for some help on that from Frank Pinnizotto of NJ, a Democrat who headed "Democrats for McCain."

Sarah is hated for very simple reasons. She's good looking, a terrific wife and mother, a rock of integrity, and an American who lives her values. That makes her a threat to Barack Obama, who spent 20 happy years shucking and jiving in Rev. Wright's America-hating, race-baiting, misogyny-tolerating church. Barack Obama has nothing but contempt for the America most of us grew up in.

Much of the hatred toward Sarah apparently is financed by George Soros and other wealthy "donors" to Obama. It has neither spontaneity nor veracity. Any truly honest elected official is going to be subject to endless mud-slinging.

Never underestimate Sarah Palin. She is a lot tougher than Obama, or Axelrod, or Soros. She has lived a life that Obama and Michelle, the "Affirmative Action Kids," cannot comprehend. They were pampered their entire lives because they combined being Black with the abiity to spell "potato." What does not destroy Sarah makes her stronger -- and nothing destroys her.

She is innocent in some ways -- a characteristic of people who are goodness personified and have a strong sense of right-and-wrong. But as the Ziegler interview shows, she's learned a lot. She's less innocent now.
